Free Food Market
At Valley View Cares, we operate a little differently than most other markets. Our Market is guest choice, which means our guests "shop" for groceries themselves. As guests arrive, they sign in and receive a number. When it is their turn to shop, a volunteer takes them through the Valley View Cares Market. Our guests are able to make their own selections of food that will best meet their individual needs.
Valley View Cares is not a warehouse distribution place where guests simply receive food that is pre-selected and boxed by the organization. We have a produce section where you can choose fresh fruit and vegetables as well as occasional other items that may include meats, eggs, milk, and more.
Don't just take our word for it. Please give us a call or come by the market during shopping hours to experience Valley View Cares for yourself.
Please call 303-794-6481 before your first visit to check that your address is within our boundaries of service.
On the day of your first visit, please bring the following paperwork:
- Photo Identification
- Current Utility Bill (XCEL, IREA, water, cable) or Current Lease/Mortgage Statement
- Current Cell Phone Bill
Existing guests must sign in at least 15 minutes prior to closing.
New guests must sign in at least 45 minutes prior to closing.
